Halloween Haunted Houses

Making A Haunted HouseTheory on PlotsMy Haunted House

When I was a little kid, I loved setting up small forts out of blankets and pillows. These little forts evolved into entrance and exit "mazes". (I called them mazes, but there were no dead ends!). I somehow got the idea to have about 5 or 6 friends over and have them crawl through this maze. There were no halloween decorations or anything, but we called it a Halloween Maze. So, I ended up having a little Halloween party that was pretty much about going through this thing. Over the years, the maze migrated from in my dining room to in the basement under and around the pool table, to its current location: the entire basement. My basement was seemingly built for the sole purpose of hosting a haunted house. It can be configured so there is only on path to lead people through without letting them see other rooms. Its like a big circle kind of. So now here I stand; about 6 years since I started this whole thing, trying to brainstorm bigger, better ways to scare my friends. Just thought I'd share that with you.

This is one of the rooms in my basement, the easiest one to theme beacuse it already looks a little creepy.
